Jonathan Glazer’s adaptation of Martin Amis’s chilling Holocaust novel.
The commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss (Christian Friedel), and his wife Hedwig (Sandra Hüller, Anatomy of a Fall), strive to build a good life for their small family in an idyllic home with a garden not far from the camp. When Rudolf is offered a promotion, his wife refuses to leave the house of their dreams.
