Throughout the weekend, The Full Stop will be on the move between events. Look out for Berenice Howard-Smith, Michael Hughes and Sarah Lawrence with their pop-up recording studio. They would be delighted to speak to you about your views on what you’ve seen and heard. Your voice may appear in a future Full Stop podcast. Berenice will be creating a Zine which will be introduced over the weekend, a chance to capture your memories in a creative way which will be brought to life in an online publication after the event. About The Full Stop
Berenice Howard-Smith She/Her
Berenice Howard-Smith, MA is the co-founder of The Full Stop, an online community and podcast. She is a coach, facilitator, artist, art director and runs Hello Lovely and Co, a creative design collaboration agency with many people in our community to bring their ideas to life including the design of Robert Nurden’s book ‘I Always Wanted To Be A Dad: Men WIthout Children’. She is childless after failed IVF and miscarriages and lives in Cambridge with her husband and rescue dog.
Sarah Lawrence She/Her
Sarah Lawrence is a co-founder of The Full Stop, a podcast and online community specifically for the childless. She is a qualified trauma-informed counsellor, specialising in working with the grief and trauma of childlessness under the name After the Storm. She also runs workshops and retreats especially for those that have been unable to have the children they wanted and also facilitates Gateway Women Reignite weekends . She is childless as a result of Endometriosis, and Adenomyosis, which led to her having a hysterectomy. She lives in Kent with her husband and her two cats.
Michael Hughes He/Him
Michael Hughes is the co-founder of The Full Stop, a podcast and online community specifically for the childless. He resides in Wollongong NSW Australia with his wife Vicky. Although his day job of thirty years has been in heavy industry maintenance, he continues to challenge himself with learning new skills, like breadmaking, video editing, drone flying and, of course, podcast editing. Although battle weary, he proudly stands as a childless man and is also a co-founder of The Childless Men’s Community and is passionate about making childless men more visible.
