An opportunity to work with an author who will talk about how they get started with writing short stories and give you some prompts and discussion points for inspiration. There will be some time for writing too so bring your note book and pen.

This workshop is being led by James Friel –  a Royal Literary Fellow, his early novel, Careless Talk was adapted into an award-nominated play this summer and will tour nationally next year. His work has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 & 4, and previous novels include The Posthumous Affair and The Higher Realm.

All abilities and levels of experience welcome to this event.
