Dr Christopher Hodkinson – Chairperson
Christopher is a cultural historian and a recently retired communications and public affairs consultant working mainly with UK and European business associations.
In parallel, he was also a visiting tutor in Italian Culture at Lancaster University. He holds an MA and PhD from Lancaster University and is author of ‘ A Question of Attribution ‘ Art Connoisseurship in the 19th Century .
Jaya Butler – Holistic Wellness Coach
Jaya combines over 3 decades of experience in Health and Wellness, bridging the medical modalities with holistic.
Beginning as a Registered Nurse, she complemented this with Yoga Therapy (body psychology with life coaching), Group Therapy, Mentoring students, Classical Pilates, Integral Yoga and supplementary knowledge within running a Health Store and her own dietary lifestyle. Lifeworx Journey also runs workshops and retreats in the UK and abroad.
Nicky Millers – Homeopath
Growing up science was her passion along with animals and she successfully combined these interests in a Veterinary career which spanned over 30 years.
Nicky now treats people as a Homeopathic Practitioner. She believes understanding that there is a link between our mental and emotional health and our physical wellbeing is key. Additionally understanding that modern day medicines and diets can be highly detrimental to health is important to understand.

Tina Symes – Intuitive life and relationship coach
Tina has a wealth of experience and a deep passion for helping others create joyful, purposeful lives. A Chester resident for the past 35 years, Tina joined the Elders Focus Group two years ago to give back to the community she cherishes.
With a degree in psychology and education, along with qualifications in NLP, EFT, and Reiki, Tina now combines her extensive knowledge and intuitive skills to guide her clients towards personal and relational growth.
