You have heard of World Book Day (6 March 2025), well this is Storyhouse Book Day and to celebrate the end of our WayWord Festival we are having a party – and you’re invited!
Like World Book Day we encourage children to come dressed as their favourite book character if they wish.
We are linking up with Wirral based company Wish Upon A party to provide 2 hours of fun, dancing, games and crafts. Plus the chance to meet 2 of your favourite characters from the world of children’s books!
Grab your favourite storybook costume and your dancing shoes and join us for games and giggles galore this October half term at Wayword Festival, Storyhouse.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
About Wish Upon A Party
Wish upon a Party specialise in character entertainment for children’s birthday parties and events. The company has something for all ages with over 90 characters to choose from. Owned by drama facilitator Ruth Rundle the company brings together professional local actors to create magical events for children in the North West. You can celebrate at their own party venue or they can travel to you.
