Stacey Dooley

Stories from Remarkable Mothers

Event details

Priority booking for members until 10am, Friday 20 December

What does it really mean to be a mother today?

Stacey Dooley MBE, one of the UK’s most beloved broadcasters, filmmakers and Sunday Times bestselling authors is returning to the stage for an intimate evening inspired by her new book, Dear Minnie: Conversations with Remarkable Mothers

Drawing on her own journey into motherhood and the heartfelt stories of women from all walks of life, Stacey will explore the messy, miraculous truth of family, resilience, and love in modern times.

After having her first child, Stacey had a new understanding of what family means, but an awareness that not everyone’s experience of motherhood is the same. With the empathy and investigative skills she’s known for, she will go into the varied perspectives of mothers today in a moving inquiry of experiences from pregnancy, to birth and beyond.

Expect an evening of candid reflections, behind-the-scenes insights from her award-winning documentaries, and anecdotes from a career telling extraordinary stories. There will be an opportunity to ask your own questions, so don’t miss your chance to connect with Stacey in a new way.
