An examination of the iconic 1990s American indie band Pavement. An idiosyncratic hybrid of narrative, scripted, documentary, musical, and metatextual forms, intimately showing the band preparing for their sold-out 2022 reunion tour.
Directed by Alex Ross Perry (Her Smell), and starring Stranger Things‘ Joe Keery and Jason Swartzman as well as featuring the band themselves, Pavements is a love-letter to the underground music scene of the mid 90s.
Pavements will be introduced by Dr Cian Quayle, Associate Professor and Programme Leader BA Photography, University of Chester Division of Art, Design and Innovation within the Faculty of Arts, Media and Social Sciences.
