After WWII, German soldiers in Danish captivity are given the task of clearing the beaches of landmines. With no training or equipment, they try to survive this mission and gain their freedom.

This screening will be introduced by Professor Tim Grady, author of  Burying The Enemy. A fascinating and moving history of the British and German war dead buried on enemy soil in the two world wars, and what happened at the end of the war to those left behind.
