At The Grill, a bustling New York tourist trap, chaos erupts during the lunchtime rush when money goes missing from the till. Suspicion quickly falls on Pedro (Raúl Briones), an undocumented cook, and Julia (Rooney Mara), an American waitress who cannot fully commit to their relationship.

As tensions rise, personal stories collide and secrets are revealed, while the workers struggle to keep up with their demanding roles—all while chasing their own elusive versions of the American Dream.
