How To Talk To Men and Boys About Misogyny

Event details

Priority booking for members opens 11am, Friday 14 February
General booking opens 11am, Saturday 15 February

Part of Storyhouse Women

Misogyny is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against women or girls. It can also refer to social systems or environments where women face hostility and hatred because they’re women in a world created by and for men — a historical patriarchy.

In this interactive panel discussion, we will learn why Misogyny is on the rise; how we tackle Misogyny amongst young people and leave feeling more confident about being an active bystander.

Eliza Hatch will return to the stage for her third and final appearance of the weekend and will be joined on stage by Beyond Equality – A national organisation which exists to disrupt harmful norms and creates possibilities for positive change, working with men and boys towards gender equality
