After the tragic loss of his father, 18-year-old Totone takes responsibility of his younger sister and their failing family farm in Jura, France. To save it, he enters a competition for the best Comté cheese in the region. A vérité-style portrait of rural life and French agriculture, Holy Cow is both a moving love story and an ode to cheese-making.
