Berlin, 1942. It was the most beautiful summer for Hilde, who is madly in love with Hans and joyfully pregnant. But amid their passion lies grave danger. Hans is involved in the anti-Nazi resistance, working with a group of young people who will later be known as the Red Orchestra.
Despite the risks, Hilde continues to fight for their cause—until she is arrested by the Gestapo. Now, eight months pregnant, Hilde must summon all her strength to endure a desperate ordeal in prison.
From Hilde With Love will be introduced by Dr Richard Millington, Programme Leader German, University of Chester Centre For Student Exchange Language Development.
