Third Monday of the month

Cheshire Bee Group

Event details

*Please note that Monday 21 October meeting has been cancelled*

Wild bees in the UK are under threat and it is important for us to know what bee species we have locally, their numbers and where they are to enable us to protect them.

The main aim of the Cheshire Bee Group is to look for and identify wild bees (not honeybees) across the county and add this information to wildlife databases. These meetings at Storyhouse will supplement the group’s field sessions and will include activities such as identification help, round up of findings, quizzes and more.

Adults only, all are welcome (you don’t need to have attended any of our other events).

Free but space is limited. Email cheshirebeegroup@gmail.com if you would like to attend.
