A beautifully nuanced ghost story about love, loss, hope, and acceptance, Andrew Haigh’s BIFA 2024 award-winning drama (which was also voted no.1 on The Guardian’s Best films of 2024 UK list) is this month’s audience choice.

One night in his near-empty London tower block, lonely screenwriter Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with mysterious neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal), puncturing the rhythm of his everyday life. As an intimate relationship develops between them, Adam finds himself drawn back to his childhood home, where his parents (played by Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) appear to be living just as they were on the day they died 30 years ago.

97/100 “All of Us Strangers examines profound grief and love through a fantastical lens that is always grounded on human emotion.” Rotten Tomatoes.
