WayWord is Storyhouse’s October half-term festival designed for primary school-aged children. Hosted at Storyhouse, libraries, and schools across Cheshire West and beyond, WayWord celebrates the power of imagination, books, and words. It offers children the chance to embark on journeys to new worlds and discover exciting new things through workshops, performances, and author-led events
Aims:
- To ignite children’s imaginations through stories and reading
- To inspire a love of reading in children from an early age
- To introduce children to a diverse range of authors, illustrators and books
When: Saturday 26 October – Sunday 3 November (Octcober half term)
