National Cinema Day 2023

Saturday 2 September. All Tickets £3.

Celebrate the big screen experience on National Cinema Day

On Saturday 2 September, hundreds of cinemas across the UK are coming together to celebrate National Cinema Day, inviting everyone to enjoy the incomparable sights and sounds of the big screen experience.

For the first time, Storyhouse is taking part in National Cinema Day, offering all tickets to all screenings for just £3 per ticket, providing an additional incentive for you, your friends and family to come along, sit back and enjoy a movie where it belongs, on the big screen.

In this joyous celebration of film, Chester audiences are invited to discover a pair of new release films, including Charlotte Regan’s vibrant and inventive father-daughter comedy Scrapper and Molly Gordon and Nick Lieberman’s hilarious feel-good mockumentary of the performing arts, Theater Camp. Families can celebrate timeless memories with Disney’s animated classic Peter Pan and create new ones with Disney’s spooky new live-action adventure, Haunted Mansion. Plus, don’t miss your chance to catch one of the leading Black classic movies of the 1970s, the rarely seen New Hollywood classic Claudine, as part of Cinema Rediscovered On Tour.

We look forward to welcoming you on #NationalCinemaDay!
