Be our guest this Christmas for a tale as old as time – Beauty and the Beast!
Join us for a magical adventure bursting with pop favourites, laughter, and unforgettable moments, all wrapped up with enchanting characters, spectacular surprises, and plenty of chances to cheer, sing, and dance along.
Schools pay just £10 per student – and a teacher goes free with every 10 secondary or 6 primary students.

Storyhouse are delighted to offer supporting workshops and experiences for both primary and secondary schools centred around this year’s Christmas production – Beauty and the Beast.
Primary Schools
Working with one of Storyhouse’s Creative Learning Practitioners, be our guest as you explore the story of Beauty and the Beast and discover how the director, cast and crew took the script and turned it into a spectacular show!
The workshop can be tailored to suit your school’s requirements. There is an option to include a backstage tour, focus on a practical exploration of the script, investigate production elements such as set design, or all of the above!
Prices: £200 for an hour, £350 for a half day (up to 3 hours), £500 for a full day (up to 5 hours) for up to 30 students. We can host up to 120 students at once on a carousel basis.

Secondary Schools
After watching the show in the morning, stick around in the afternoon for The Careers Experience. Whilst discovering what it takes to bring a production like Beauty and the Beast to the stage, students will explore the Storyhouse building and those who work within it.
This experience can be tailored to explore job roles that you’re particularly interested in – from the HR department, to finance, to chefs, to technicians – and includes a backstage tour!
This experience is an opportunity to introduce your students to the vast array of jobs that make a cultural hub such as Storyhouse function, culminating in planning their own event and pitching their plan to a panel of professionals.
Also available – ‘The Careers Experience: Performance‘ – delves into both the performance and production side of theatre. Students will work with an arts professional to devise and develop their own piece of theatre, design a lighting and sound plan, and perform in a professional setting at Storyhouse.
Prices: £350 for a half day (up to 3 hours), £500 for a full day (up to 5 hours) up to 30 students. This experience can be expanded to host up to 120 students at once on a carousel basis.
